WGA invites the MGA, Lunch afterward
Even with the threat of high temperatures we had 17 golfers show up this morning: Eleven 18-holers and six 9-holers. The game for the 18-holers today was our Nassau Format. The winners were:
Front nine with a net 30; back nine with a net 27 and total with a net 57: Chris Williiams. He won it all.
Bob Tuttle had the low gross score of 69; won the CTP prize on number 17 at 7 1/2" and the CTP prize on #13 at 16' 1 1/2".
The 9-hole winners were:
1st with a net 24: Paul Casiglione who tied with Mac McConahy for the low gross score of 34.
2nd with a net 24 1/2: Doug Miller
3rd with a net 26: Jim Buckingham and Mac McConahy
Seven 9-holers and Seven 18-holers played yesterday morning. The game for the 18-holers was our Medal Format (straight golf). The winners were:
1st with a net 64: Jay Hilsher
2nd with a net 65: George Pederson
3rd with a net 66: Bob Tuttle who also had the low gross score of 71
Arty Cochran won the CTP prize for #17 at 3' 1 1/4". Paul Castiglione won the prize on #13 at 8' 10 1/2".
