MGA results – 4/14/2021

April 15th, 2021

Another nice day brought out 18 golfers.  Seven 9-holers and eleven 18-holers who played our Nassau format.

Winners include:

Nine-holers:

1st with a net 24 1/2:  Tommy Atkins

2nd with a net 28 1/2:  Greg Kepner, Paul Castiglione and Doug Miller

Low Gross with a 37:  Tommy Atkins and Mac McConahy

Eighteen-holers:

Front nine with a net 29 and total with a net 61:  Jerry Robinson

Back nine with a net 30:  Ken Taylor, Jay Hilsher and Frank Severn

Ken Taylor had the low gross score of 74.

Frank Severn won the closest to the pin money at 10′ 7 1/2″.

MGA Resuults – 4/7/2021

Summer is almost here.  It got warm by the time the last group finished.  We had seven 9-holers and ten 18-holers, who played our Medal Play format today.  The winners were:

Nine Holers:

1st with a net 27 1/2:  Tommy Atkins

2nd with a net 28 1/2:  Paul Castiglione

3rd with a net 29:  Mac McConahy who also had the low gross score of 72

Eighteen Holers:

1st with a net 59:  Frank Severn

2nd with a net 60:  Chris Williams

3rd with a net 61:  Jerry Robinson

Randy Cole had the low gross score of 72 and the closest to the pin prize at 17′ 10″.

Latest Llano County and State of Texas Covid Orders:

– Face coverings required inside any retail/public INDOOR space,
– When NOT feasible to maintain Social Distancing (6 ft) then a face covering is required OUTDOORS,
– No “gatherings” of Ten (10) or more people,
– There are citations for violators up to $250 for the 2nd and 3rd time (but no jail),
