Learn to Play Golf

Gary D. Parsons, PGA

I began playing multiple sports at a young age, including golf at age 10. I went on to play competitively in high school. I’m very passionate about the game and want to share that passion with new and existing golfers. I’ve been teaching golf through my association with the PGA since 2005 and look forward to introducing the game to many more golfers of all ages and skill levels.I offer individual lessons, couples lessons, small group lessons, lesson packages and on course playing lessons.

I am dedicated to helping golfers attain their desired level of ability and enhance their enjoyment of the game. Students will receive the best professional instruction while gaining knowledge and advice on equipment, rules, etiquette and course management.

We will work on the three Cs: Comfort, Confidence, Consistency.

When working with beginners and players returning to the game, I start at the hole and work backwards. It’s important for all players, regardless of skill level, to have a strong short game – putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, etc.

The quickest way to improving your scoring and handicap index is through improving your short game skills. I will work with the student on any aspect of the game at any time, but I do encourage spending extra time on the short game skill development.
