The weather forecasters must have scared our more timid golfers this morning since we only had 12 golfers (well 11 if we don’t count Paul who was a no show on the course). The golfers today were made up 4 putters and 1 nine holer who played with the 6 regular golfers who played our medal play format. The winners were:
1st place with a net 63: Jerry Robinson
2nd place with a net 64: Frank Severn
Bob Tuttle won the closest to the pin money and had the low gross score of 71.
By the way, it was fairly nice at 9:00 when we teed off although the wind was a little brisk by the time the regular golfers were done at noon.
Here’s how the 9-holer Herda did today:
Putting Competition (handicap adjusted and always subject to change):
1st Place for $4: Bob Kiker, 37.00 putts;
2nd Place for $2: James Longoria, 38.00 putts;
3rd Place for $1: Doug Miller, 38.50 putts;
4th Place for $1: C.L. Newsome, 42 putts.
Golfing Competition (also handicapped):
1st Place for $2: Mac McConahy (by default)
That’s it for another great day of 9-Holer golf at good old Blue Lake.
